Yeah, that bitch is quite heavy, isn't she? The base was modified a couple of times, but I think they missed it a bit. It's not that hard of a fix though. A couple of small steel rods, an exacto knife, some glue and you can modify the under side of the base to keep it from twisting . [img]wink.gif[/img]
I recently relocated my Alien Queen and noticed that the base is warped from the weight of that momma. You really can't see her leaning but the stress on the base is definitely there.
My Ancient Worm (ha ha ha I said "my Ancient Worm!) is leaning considerbly. So much so that the base is almost useless.
Top Gun thinks leaning is for sissies.

I solved my Wyrm's leaning problem by wedging a quarter between the base and his right foot. The quarter lays flat so you can't really see it. Since I've done that, he's as right as rain. (...whatever the hell that means!) [img]graemlins/wonder.gif[/img]
It wasn't a bitch Steve. I just thought you might be interested in the long term effect on heavy figures. MY AQ is not in a bad way really. It's just that I can see where the pressure on the base is.
